All services are provided via telehealth from the convenience of your own home or office.
What are the advantages of telehealth therapy?
You get all the same amazing services as the traditional office setting, but without the inconvenience of traffic, searching for parking and the constraints of your busy schedule.
How does telehealth therapy work?
Once you decide to begin therapy, I will email a link to a HIPPA compliant therapy site where you will login in and be directed to a waiting room until your session time. Documents that need signatures will be sent through the secure site, DocuSign and all copays/deductibles will be invoiced through PayPal.
How do I set up an appointment?
The best way to set up an appointment is to call 703-340-1626. I will collect your information, schedule your initial and follow up appointments and answer any questions you may have. If we are unable to answer your call please leave a message and we will call you back within 24 hours. If you have a mental health emergency and are located in the greater DC area you can call 703-746-3401 for the 24 hour Alexandria Mental Health Services or dial 911.
What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. There is a $50 no show or late cancellation fee policy.
What are your hours?
I see clients Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:30am-6:30pm EST. These hours may change at special request.
What do you specialize in?
My primary focus is on the treatment of the whole self. I will support and assist you to work through a wide array of issues through acting as a sounding board to navigating long-lasting and meaningful change from your anxiety, drug and alcohol abuse, depression, relationship transitions, weight issues, self-esteem, and stress reduction. I use a person-centered approach and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing techniques and emphasize nutrition and exercise. I utilize talk therapy, setting goals, finding your core values, establishing self-esteem, challenging irrational self-defeating talk, establishing healthy coping skills, finding balance in your life, but foremost giving you a safe space to express yourself. Taking a holistic approach I will look at your environment, relationships, health, spirituality, career/education, and leisure activities to address your needs and goals.
